School Days

Here we are 3 weeks into our new routine----off to school before the sun comes up. Dublin is doing great! She seems very happy every time we pick her up. Check out those jeans and sweater!!! I have a hard time leaving this beautiful sleepy face each morning.

Back to School

Well, the day I have been dreading arrived today---Dublin's first day away from us and away from home. I returned to work today and she started daycare. We both had a great first day---I think I cried more than she did, but I know she slept more. We are home sweet home now, and she is eating while I post this. Here are some pictures of Dublin with her teachers:

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

Go Rangers!
It was dollar hot dog day!!!
Wow, it almost looks like this wasn't staged...nice try Daddy! We know how it really happened.

Aunt Danielle hooked us up with amazing seats for a Rangers game on the most beautiful day that we've had since Dublin has been born--low 80s with a cool breeze. It was such a fun day! Thanks Aunt Danielle!!

What a trooper!

Dublin went to see Dr. Tran today for her 8-week shots....
...She cried for the needles, but then just spent the day sleeping it off...

Hopefully she will have a restful night as well!!!

Look What I Can Do!

It has been awhile since we have posted because we have been so busy---Dublin had her Nana and Papa visiting for 9 days, her Grandma and Grandpa visiting, her cousins Tyler & Nicholas visiting with her Great-Aunt Barbara, Aunt Lisa & Uncle Matt (Pictures of all the visitors to come very soon), and she has been doing A LOT of growing and learning since our last post!
It has been wonderful watching the development our little one is experiencing....She is much more alert than in her newborn weeks. She is smiling!!! (Although we have not caught it on camera yet.) She startles at many new noises---it appears it is now time for a "Shhhhh....Baby sleeping" sign. She is beginning to respond to items in her view by kicking and batting (at this point, I think the contact is purely accidental...but soon it won't be!)...She is enjoying her tummy time mat, activity mats while on her back, looking in mirrors, and her swing...She focuses on eyes and looks toward familiar voices. She is grabbing onto fingers and our clothing... She is up to 8 lbs., 7.8 oz. from her birth weight of 6 lbs., 5.2 oz.!!! And she sleeps several hours at night...I just can't wait to see what she does next!

Time With Auntie Erin

Dublin had a nice long visit with her Auntie Erin
the past week and a half.

Auntie Erin helped feed her.

They hung out with Unkie Gary.

We went out to lunch for the first time
and listened to some Irish music.

All too soon it was time for goodbye.

We were so lucky to have her here--she was such a great help and
we had such a wonderful time!!!

Thank you Auntie Erin!! We love you!!! :o)
