Surprise Visitors

Nana & Papa made a surprise detour to Texas in their road trip---we had a fun-filled few days. Can't wait 'til our next visit!

Another road-tripper surprised us a few weeks later---on her way from California, Michelle had a chance to spend some time in Texas, too.

We love company!!

Future Party Planner

Sterling (our puppy) celebrated his 5th birthday this month. Dublin helped plan his party. We made pupcakes for him and a scooby snack banana pudding for us. She decorated with paw prints, picked out his present, invited some friends, and insisted on singing by candlelight. It was fun for all!!

Happy Birthday, buddy!

Exploring

Thanks to a suggestion from a friend, Dublin and I found an outdoor play area not surrounded by puddles from yesterday's flooding. It was a cute little village to run around...

Keeping Busy...

Meeting the author at storytime. (The book she wrote was perfect for Dublin---about being a big sister!!!!!)
The toy I want to play with as much as she does!!!

Finally made it up the wall!!! She thinks she's getting so big!

Splash!!!

We had only a tiny bit of rain and a glimpse of cooler weather, but a 2 year-old knows how to take advantage! We had to hunt for it, but she found a great splashing puddle.

I'm Two!!! Part One.

Dublin has had a very busy few months!

She had a visit from Nana, Papa, Auntie Erin & Uncle Eric in February just in time to take a trip to Austin for Rob & Cheryl's wedding.

We had some more unexpected snow---more than she will probably ever see again in Texas.

She got her big girl bed while they were here, too.

She has continued her gym class with "Ms. Marie" three days a week, where she gets to play, sing in circle time, engage in parachute games, and play musical instruments.

In April, she found out she will be a big sister!

Late spring and summer meant lots of outings and fun!

I'm Two!!! Part Two.

...And more fun!!

June brought a new interest in everyone's birthday---then it was time for her birthday party. She had a puppy party.

Late July brought with it an exciting first plane ride to Wisconsin. Dublin had a wonderful visit filled with "big red barns", backyard swimming, zoos, a parade, fireworks, and lots of family time. She even had a chance to visit the pilot in the cockpit when we landed.

Since we have been home, Dublin has increased her social calendar by adding storytime and gymnastics to her weekly activities. She is talking up a storm, potty training, and interested in doing everything (she wants to do), while telling us "I not doing..." whatever we request. She is a big girl, now! :o)
