Our Spring Break in Review

Dublin and Mama have had a wonderful Spring Break!!! We have been very busy. We spent time with many, many friends & family members, learned new skills, and had so much fun!

We started the weekend spending time with Devan, Josh & Danielle. Sunday, we spent time making a variety of new foods for Dublin. She also pulled up on her own that weekend.

We went to a playdate with Emma, Cammie, Nathanial, Ben, & Ivy on Monday. We also went swimming at the natatorium. Dublin loved the water, but was a little overwhelmed with the crowded pool (it was spring break for all the kids, too!). We visited on Wednesday, too.

Dublin decided she liked sitting in the clothes basket. This fun only lasted until Saturday, as she learned to stand up in the basket and nearly knocks it over now.

Tuesday of course was St. Patrick's Day. We met some new friends at Trinity Hall: Daniella and her parents Gloria and John.

Dublin and I had fun doing a little shopping this week. It is amazing how grown up she is! Sitting in the cart and trying to turn around. Here, below, sitting up in the little seat. 

On Wednesday we met up with Dublin's friend Oliver and Mama's friend Holly for lunch. We hadn't seen them since before Christmas---both babies had grown so much since then!

On Thursday, Dublin learned to crawl!!! 

Later that evening, we met up with Daniella, Gloria, and John at the Dallas Museum of Art.

We listened to some Jazz.

And hung out on the beautiful lawn outside the DMA.

Friday brought Grandma & Grandpa and Uncle Gary to visit. We had so much fun. 

Dublin tried beets, banana puffs, sweet potato puffs, and piece of whole banana for the first time this week.

Grandma & Grandpa stayed through Saturday. The weather was beautiful!

Today we might go to the park or just hang out at the house.

It was a great week! We were so glad to visit with family & friends---we are so fortunate to have you! And for those that we didn't get to see, hope to see you soon!!

HAPPY SPRING!

New and Exciting Skills!

I don't know if I posted about it, but Dublin pulled herself up independently on the weekend.

She learned to sit herself up from a kneeling position and from all fours yesterday! (And she already realizes she can do it in the crib---we found her sitting up yesterday and today...time to lower the mattress.)

 And today....she crawled 3 "steps" forward!!! Yay!

Dublin called it an afternoon---she crashed as soon as we got home, leg through the crib slat and all.

She slept until dinnertime. Sweet Irish baby.

First Family Vacation? Kind of?

We went to Houston. For a conference. At least we stayed in a hotel and spent some time together...it might count as a vacation--or at least a weekend away...Dublin did great in the car. She slept a lot both ways with the help of sleep sheep.

Here she is when we arrived at the hotel. We survived a room change and a finicky fridge. We all slept great and ate just okay.

She had fun hanging out with Daddy during the conference.
